Storm Names New Head Coach for 2020

Pat "PJ" Harris has joined the Storm team as head coach for the 2020 season.  Coach Harris is a Kansas City, Kansas native that has played arena football as well as been a staple in the Kansas City men's semi pro scene for 13 seasons playing with the Jazz, Marshals, Minutemen and Panthers. 


Coach Harris loves football and currently works doing media for the J.C. Harmon Varsity High School team.  He has coached football at all levels as well as girls basketball.  

We are thrilled to have his expertise and enthusiasm on our team - welcome Coach Harris!

                        DERIAN LOCKETT



The Storm is proud to announce former player Lisa Becken has joined our coaching staff. Lisa was a formidable defensive lineman in her playing days and will assume responsibilities for both the defensive and offensive line. Welcome Lisa! 

Welcome Derian Lockett to the Kansas City Storm coaching staff!  Derian is on the varsity football coaching staff of J.C. Harmon High School.  He will assume the defensive coordinator responsibilities.

The Storm is thrilled to announce that Jeff Floyd will join our staff for the 2020 season.  Jeff is a retired college and high school head football coach and author of, a website full of resources of all things football.  He will concentrate on maturing the Storm's defense.

Storm Announces New League

September 6, 2019.   The Kansas City Storm announces that she will play with the Women's Tackle Football League beginning with the 2020 spring season.  Most recently, the Storm has played in the Women's Extreme Football League, based predominately in Oklahoma last year.  With this move, the Storm aims to increase the number and quality of games for the players and fans.  The league has been newly formed and consists of both established and new teams across the United States.  The Women's Tackle Football League promises unparalleled team control of the league and the Storm is excited to work with this new group of teams to build the sport and reach new levels.  Onward to 2020!


Players and fans of the KC Storm will meet for a night as guests of the Kansas City T-Bones.  Tickets are free, message us for details.
The 2018 American Association Champion T-Bones take on the Texas Airhogs on Saturday, August 10, at 7:05pm.
